Volunteers Needed for Lawrence Meals on Wheels

Drivers are needed to deliver meals one day each week to seniors or those recovering from an operation or illness who cannot fully cope for themselves.

Lawrence Township Meals on Wheels is seeking volunteers to help deliver hot meals to local residents in need of the service. 

Recipients of the meals are often elderly or recovering from an operation or illness and cannot fully cope for themselves.

Meals are prepared under the direction of a licensed dietician in the kitchens of the ARC of Mercer County.  Meals are delivered within Lawrence Township Monday through Friday by single volunteers or couples. 

Typically a volunteer spends two hours one day a week.
