John Fitton, LHS 2011 (Juniata College, Huntingdon, Pa.)

Working with the Princeton Community Church John helped the church create a walkway that would become a prayer garden, as well as creating easy access to the playground for the churchgoers. John planned, designed, led and built this walkway measuring 75-feet-long and 3-feet-wide, made with cobble paver stone.

Jamie Titus, LHS 2010 (Sophomore, Princeton University)

Jamie built four information sign-boards for the newly created Heritage Park off Johnson Avenue in the Eggerts Crossing neighborhood. Placed along trails and picnic areas, the sign-boards will hold information about the civic league and its projects and volunteer opportunities, as well as trail maps and historical information. He worked closely with the Eggerts Crossing Civic League to help their efforts to build a stronger community among the residents of the Eggerts Crossing Village neighborhood.

Evan Halliday, The Lawrenceville School 2010 (Sophomore, University of Richmond)

Evan worked with The Friends of The Lawrence Nature Center located at 481 Drexel Ave. to help build bookshelves and a storage bench. He built two large bookshelves and a bookshelf bench placed along the walls and under the window within the reading alcove of the Nature Center. This was built to address the needs of children who use the center. In addition he also built a storage bench that would accommodate the nature materials the members had collected.
