Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines a hands-on activity with your young child and listening to a story highlighting the fruit or vegetable. On Tuesday, May 7 at 9:30am and 11am, parents and young children (ages preschool to 8 years) are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about vegetables. They will be reading two books about vegetables. Then everyone will pick his or her own small container of asparagus.

Thursday

Poetry Circle, , 2751 Us Highway 1, Lawrence Township, 7 p.m.

Richard Wilbur (1921–) “is a poet for all of us, whose elegant words brim with wit and paradox,” announced Librarian of Congress Daniel J. Boorstin when the poet succeeded Robert Penn Warren to become the second poet laureate of the United States. Wilbur won the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award for his collection Things of This World: Poems in 1957 and a second Pulitzer for New and Collected Poems. Pick up a packet of the selected poems from the Lawrence Reference Desk.

Line dance classses/practive for Lawrence Township Senior's 60 years of age and older. Great way to stay in shape and make friends.
