Earth Day Hike in Drexel Woods, Drexel Woods and The Lawrence Nature Center, 481 Drexel Ave, Lawrenceville, 6:30 p.m.

Celebrate Earth Day by taking a leisurely hike with Rick Dutko, LNC Naturalist. The forest floor will be alive with spring windflowers. You'll hear the calls of early nesting birds and we may come across some red-backed salamanders or green frogs. Dress for the weather, trails are often muddy in spring. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 


MCPCA College Fair, Mercer County Community College, 1200 Old Trenton Rd, West Windsor, 6 p.m.

The Mercer County Professional Counselors Association will be sponsoring a College Fair from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Mercer County Community College, West Windsor Campus. Over 100 colleges are expected to attend this annual event and admission is free to Mercer County students and parents.  


Powerpoint Class for Beginners, Lawrence Community Center, 295 Eggerts Crossing Rd, Lawrence Township, 9 a.m.

This class teaches the basics of Powerpoint, and occurs each week.


Spring Concert- A Taste of Italy, Lawrence Township Senior Center, 30 E Darrah Ln, Lawrence Township, 7 p.m.

Come and enjoy familiar music with an Italian theme, ranging from The Godfather to Tarrantella to Frank Sinatra by your local community concert band. The program is open to the public, light refreshments will be served, admission is fee but donations will be accepted in support of senior center activities.


Arbor Day Celebration at Terhune Orchards, Terhune Orchards, 330 Cold Soil Rd, Princeton, 10 a.m.

Join your neighbors and friends as Terhune invite all the little ones (pre-school age) to the farm to listen to a "tree" story and receive a free blue spruce seepling to take home and plant.  The they'll do it again at 4 p.m. for school-aged children.  Come enjoy the farm, the orchards in bloom, and fields being planted and celebrate the wonder of trees. No admission fee.
