The forecast calls for between 2 and 3 inches of snow and a difficult morning commute.

For the fourth time in a week, snow is in the forecast.

The National Weather Service out of Mount Holly is projecting light snowfall for much of the state beginning late Monday night and extending into Tuesday.

Weather conditions are expected to make for a difficult commute Tuesday morning, although the forecast calls for between 2 and 3 inches of accumulation for most of central New Jersey, including Mercer and Middlesex counties.

Snow may mix with or change to rain by the end of Tuesday afternoon.

An additional dusting of snow is possible for Tuesday night.
