'Discoloration' Possible With Water Main Flushing

Advisory issued to water customers of Aqua New Jersey.

Lawrence Township residents who are served by Aqua New Jersey are being advised that water main cleaning is scheduled to take place at the end of this month and throughout March.

“Customers may experience temporary discoloration and/or decreased water pressure during this process,” the water utility has announced. “Just run the cold water for a minute or two until it clears. We also suggest that you store several quarts of water in advance for use during this time.”

Daily “flushing updates” can be obtained by calling (609) 587-4080 extension 56514.
