Birds are getting ready for spring and new families.  They will read two stories about birds and how they get ready for spring. Each child will make his or her own nesting materials and a birdhouse to take home. 

5th Annual One-Act Play Festival, , 2751 Us Highway 1, Lawrence Township, 7 p.m.

This annual free festival provides an entertaining evening for the audience and a venue for local playwrights and actors to showcase their talent. Local actors will perform the staged script-in-hand readings of the one-act plays selected for performance at the library. There will be two performances at 7 and 9 p.m. Seating is limited and registration is required.

Spring Fling 2013, Lawrence Road Presbyterian Nursery School, 1039 Lawrenceville Rd, Lawrence Township, 11 a.m.

Spring Fling features pony rides, a petting zoo, moon bounce attractions, live music, police dog show, games, crafts, face painting, food and more. A gift basket raffle includes a one-year Retro Fitness membership (classes and personal training included), four tickets to a Rutgers football game, cooking lessons, dining certificates, and many more fabulous prizes. Admission is $5 per child, adults free. All proceeds will support new and ongoing programs of the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church Nursery School.
