Sept. 8 Back to School Sunday at Har Sinai

Hopewell Twp. - A "Back to School" Sunday designed to welcome children back to school and give their families a look at what Har Sinai Temple is doing in its classrooms is slated for the morning of Sept. 8.  Located at 2421 Pennington Rd., Har Sinai offers an array of educational and religious instruction. On the first day of Religious School, parents are invited to see their children's classrooms and meet their teachers. The day will conclude with a "Days of Awe' Slichot service for the whole family.

Religious School meets from 9 to 11:30 a.m. During the morning, Rabbi Stuart Pollack will conduct the service at 10:45 a.m. that explores the meaning of Judaism's High Holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Days of Awe are special prayers and poems traditionally said for those holidays.

Call the temple at (609) 730-8100 for more information.
