Master Gardener Plant Expo and Garden Market

The Rutgers Master Gardeners of Mercer County will host its annual Plant Expo & Garden Market on Saturday, May 3, from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.   The program will be held at the Mercer Educational Gardens, 431 A Federal City Road, Pennington, adjacent to the Mercer County Equestrian Center.

The annual event that attracts local gardeners looking for quality perennials, herbs, tomatoes and other veggies features the popular new Garden Market of selected top-notch area nurseries; our prized homegrown perennials, trees and shrubs; and a secondhand sale of gently used items. Master Gardeners will assist you in selecting the right plants for your garden and Mercer County horticulturist Barbara J. Bromley will be on hand to answer questions.

The Rutgers Master Gardeners of Mercer County is a volunteer educational outreach program of Rutgers Cooperative Extension. Rutgers Master Gardeners participate in many volunteer programs throughout the County, as well as answer home horticulture questions through their Rutgers Master Gardener Helpline, (609) 989-6853, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (March through October) and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (November through February).
