BYOB Cooking Class at Mrs. G. TV & Appliances. Chef Mary Beth Madill will demonstrate "Fall, Fresh, and Local." Make kale and butternut squash soup, chicken with madiera sauce and roasted fall vegetables, pecan beet salad, and apple cake tartin. Must be 21 or over. Registration required. 2960 Route 1, $30, 6 p.m. 

The Trenton Farmer's Market is open today at 960 Spruce Street between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. 

Hiring Fair and Employment WorkshopsDepartment of Military and Veterans Affairs, Employers with available jobs will be screening and interviewing candidates at the Lawrenceville Armory from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Open to veterans, active duty military, members of the National Guard and reserve components, and military spouses, 151 Eggert Crossing Road, Workshop begins at 9 a.m., hiring fair runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
