Percussion Ensemble, Childrens' Author Visit at Barnes & Noble

Brown Bag Series Lecture at The College of New Jersey. Discussion of a project to use Appalachian miners’ oral histories as well as original research as seed material for Radford University's’s performance of "The Shadow Waltz." The speakers will also discuss how the performance weaves miners’ stories with dance, music and text to reflect the history and mysterious pull of Appalachian coal mining. The Mildred & Ernest E.
