You Said It: Why Should People Go Fishing?
Everyone's got opinions. Patch is the place to share them.
Welcome to "You Said It," Lawrenceville Patch’s daily video feature. Each week we’ll pose a new question and go out into the community to see what local residents think. A new video will be posted right here every afternoon Monday through Friday.
Lawrenceville Patch spoke to people gathered at Colonial Lake this past weekend for the start of New Jersey's 2011 spring trout fishing season to ask this question:
Why Should People Go Fishing?
Among the anglers we caught up with was Tony Sebasto Sr., who is making a remarkable recovery from injuries he suffered when he was hit by a car in December. The beloved school crossing guard suffered nine broken ribs, three fractured vertebrae in his spine, a fractured leg and a punctured lung in the accident.
So what do you think? Is fishing a worthwhile endeavor? Join the conversation! Post a comment below or send an email to Lawrenceville Patch Editor Michael Ratcliffe.
