As a Girl Scout, a girl grows in an environment that will nurture her creativity and intellect, providing both encouragement and resources to develop life skills and follow her dreams. She will have the opportunity to share experiences with other girls and form long-lasting friendships. She will visit exciting places, learn new things, and participate in fun activities.
In addition, Girl Scouting gives a girl added support to build her self-confidence, helping her become a resourceful young woman. Just like we have for the past 100 years... Many Girl Scouts meet in traditional troops. Others experience Girl Scouting through local ZIP Troops and independent scouting.
Our programs begin with Daisy Girl Scouts in kindergarten right through Ambassadors as 12th graders!
