“This is a chance for our Ben Franklin families to help fellow New Jersey families who were hit very hard by [Hurricane Sandy]. They lost so much and we can help,” a flyer from the school’s PTO reads.

“This will be a fun, creative evening of making art – some to take home, some to give to storm victims to let them know we are thinking about them. Join us!”

There is a suggested donation of $2, which will be forwarded to the American Red Cross.

The event will take place in the school’s All-Purpose Room.
