Students Celebrate Benjamin Franklin's Birthday
Students at Ben Franklin Elementary School in Lawrence Township last week honored the American patriot after whom their school is named.
Last Thursday (Jan. 17), the students and staff of Ben Franklin Elementary School celebrated Benjamin Franklin’s bithday.
The children celebrated by watching a movie, “Ben & Me,” and received a special visit from Ben Franklin himself.
As part of the celebration, K & J Lawncare and Landscaping laid the first brick for the 50th Anniversary walk-way.
The bricks were donated last year to honor the school. The bricks were donated by Ben Franklin families, the community, and local businesses.

Congratulations to Ben Franklin School on their anniversary. What a great idea to have a walk way to celebrate their 50 years of sending our young people on to bigger and better places in our society. Is it really 50 years ago that Ben Franklin began this wonderful journey? It must be because my children were among the first to attend there. Special thanks to Dave Krisak and all the families, businesses and community for making this tribute possible.
