Lawrence Township police, emergency medical personnel and career and volunteer firefighters responded to a one-vehicle accident this morning (Thursday, Sept. 27) in which a car went off Fackler Road and struck a utility pole near the corner of Deer Run shortly before 8 a.m.

The car’s female driver was not seriously injured but was trapped in the wreckage. After she was freed, she was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. The cause of the crash is under investigation by township police.
