Photo Gallery: 2012 Lawrence High School Graduation

On a scorching Wednesday afternoon, 271 Lawrence High School seniors stayed cool as they walked in their graduation ceremony at the Sun National Bank Center.

During Wednesday’s (June 20) graduation ceremonies held at the Sun National Bank Center in Trenton, Lawrence High School Principal Jon Dauber described the Class of 2012 as “a great class. I wish we could clone them.”

The facts back up his declaration.

Most of the new graduates (94 percent) are headed to college. Two will be attending Princeton University, while a classmate will attend the University of Pennsylvania on a full scholarship. Four new alumni will be entering the military.

Among the 271 members of the Class of 2012 are 58 members of the National Honor Society, and two National Merit finalists. Some were selected to the New Jersey State Choir, as well as the regional choir. The boys swim team won the Patriot’s Division in 2012. The girls softball team captured its first-ever title, the Central Region 3 championship.

Our future is bright with these men and women set to make a difference in the world.
