Morris Hall Honored by Technical School District

The Mercer County Technical School District recently honored , a non-profit organization comprised of St. Mary's Assisted & Residential Living and St. Joseph's Skilled Nursing Center.

Yolanda Stinger, clinical director of admissions, accepted the Mercer County Technical School District's 2011 Business Partner of the Year Award on behalf of Morris Hall. Yolanda is a two-time graduate of the Mercer County Technical School District and a long-time supporter.

 The meaningful partnership between Mercer County Technical School District and Morris Hall allows many secondary and post-secondary students to gain valuable clinical time at Morris Hall. In addition, Morris Hall employs several Mercer County Technical School District graduates. Meaningful partnerships such as this one are critical to the success of career and technical education programs.  

"Morris Hall's business partnership with Mercer County Technical Schools is a win, win situation. In today's workforce, employers are looking for applicants who already have hands-on experience because it saves time and money in training new employees. I strongly urge all businesses to join forces and get involved with the Mercer County Technical Schools. These young and older adults are the workforce of tomorrow," said Yolanda Stinger.
