Many Accidents Reported on Snow-Slick Roads [Video]
Luckily, no serious injuries have been reported, according to Lawrence Township police.
While it’s only amounted to a few inches, the snow that fell this morning (Friday, March 8) – and, as of 10:30 a.m., was still falling in parts of Lawrence Township – certainly made for some treacherous driving conditions on some roads.
Lawrence Township police have responded to multiple accidents involving vehicles sliding off roadways, including one in which a Mercer County Department of Transportation salt truck ended up on its side in a ditch on Carter Road near Tall Timbers Road.
Another accident, reported shortly before 8:30 a.m., involved a car that slid off Lawrenceville-Pennington Road and slammed sideways into a utility pole near the northernmost of the road’s two intersections with Lawrencia Drive.
Other accidents were reported along Lawrence Station Road, Quakerbridge Road and near the intersection of Bunker Hill Road and Federal City Road.
Luckily, no serious injuries were reported in any of the crashes, township police said.
