Man Arrested for Posing as a CIA Agent
A man was arrested last Friday for impersonating an officer or agent, amongst other charges.
A man was picked up for impersonating a CIA agent, amongst other charges, at Houlihan's on Route 1 last Friday.
David Ritardi, 34, of Trenton, was charged with weapons offenses, fraudulent documents, impersonating a police officer or agent, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Sgt. Chris Longo received information that Ritardi was allegedly using fraudulent documentation to pose as a CIA operative. Longo confirmed with the federal government that Ritardi was not an employee of the CIA, according to Detective Sgt. Joe Amodio.
Ritardi was also in possession of a bb gun styled to look like a black handgun and prescription pills without documentation, although he was not suspected of attempting to distribute, according to Amodio.
Officer Andrew Lee and Detective James Smith also handled the case.
Ritardi posted bail and was released from custody the following day.

A CIA agent is not a police officer. Anyway, how does one impersonate a CIA agent? This is a joke, right?

This is hysterical! So, he's at a bar, impersonating a CIA agent? Okay, geez, who's the girl? Did he keep up the act as they dragged him away? Only in Lawrence, I swear!

Can we get that Lawrence Township cop that spends all his time on the internet looking for evidence of prostitution in Lawrence Township to investigate that commenter James Bond and have him arrested for impersonating 007?

I think this is funny too but very scary. If this guy didn't have a gun I would laugh it off but it appears he took his altered-ego to another level. If he really thinks he was in the CIA he belongs in Trenton Psyc. If he was intimidating people which with a gun I assume, then he belongs jailed. Poke fun but my family (including my 2 children) eat at Houlihans and I am glad this guy won't be there anymore with his gun and CIA story.
