This holiday season found students and staff throughout the district reaching out to our community and beyond.

For Thanksgiving, Eldridge Park Elementary School collected from school families and staff members and sent home food baskets including turkeys to 18 Eldridge Park families.

Eldridge Park first-grade students also recently completed a service learning project - organizing a collection of shoes for the children of Haiti. Eldridge Park families and staff donated over 250 pairs of shoes! One Eldridge Park parent will take the shoes to Haiti over the winter break.

Eldridge Park families and staff members also collected money and gifts to help some Eldridge Park families. Families of the preschool students at Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church donated games. Through combined generosity, 18 Eldridge Park students and their siblings will receive gifts and gift cards for the holidays.

Staff members within the district's Administration Building, Technology Department, and Supervisors spread holiday cheer to an Eldridge Park family that has seven children. The staff was able to fill almost every need and want on a list provided to them to assist with their shopping as well as provide a Christmas tree, decorations, and a $100 gift card for mom and dad to Acme.
