In honor of Make a Difference Day, Nate Whitehead, a kindergarten student at Eldridge Park Elementary School, suggested a project that involved all EPS kindergarten students.
Students collected snacks and juice boxes and decorated lunch bags. Terhune Orchards donated 100 apples.
The students put together the snack bags and donated them to HomeFront's Joy, Hopes and Dreams program.
The kindergarteners’ donations of snacks resulted in 146 snack bags that helped make a difference for the children who attend HomeFront's after-school program.
