Princeton School of Rock Announces Their Student of the Month for Novemer 2012 Matt Bovarnick
The Princeton School of Rock is thrilled to announce that Matt Bovarnick is their Student of the Month for November. Bovarnick attended a summer camp session at the school in June of 2010 and has since gone on to perform in many seasonal shows. Per school GM Mike Vlaanderen, "Matt started out playing guitar but he also has mastered the drums and vocals. He is currently the best male front man in the Princeton School of Rock." Quite an accomplishment!
When asked what he likes most about the School of Rock program, Bovarnick said,"I enjoy the musical experience and making friends with the great students and teachers at the school. Plus, (I get to) play great music with all of them." And, it seems Bovarnick's passion for performing has a profound effect on who he is jamming with at the school. "His great stage presence sets a tone for the other students," added Vlaanderen.
As always with the School of Rock program, Bovarnick is learning life lessons too. " (Sure) I've learned everything I know about playing guitar here. But I also learned that you should work hard at what you love because not only will you get better, but you will learn to love it even more," concluded Bovarnick.
Vlaanderen nominated Bovarnick because," Matt is the most enthusiastic, comedic & multi-talented student in the school. I have personally witnessed Matt's progress and how he has flourished since joining us."
During his down time, Bovarnick listens to bands like Foxy Shazam, Disturbed, Foo Fighters, System of a Down, QOTSA and Led Zeppelin
Thanks for embracing our program at all that you do within it, Matt. Congratulations!
